The formula to find volume of a cone is V = (pi)(r^2)(h/3). The radius is 12, because you divide the diameter in half. To plug everything in, it would be; V = (pi)(144)(10/3) Volume is 1507.96 feet

The equation for finding the volume of a cone is V = 1/3 times pi times the radius squared times height. V = 1/3 times pi times 12 squared (half of diameter) times 10. V = 1/3 • pi • 144 • 10 V = 1/3 • pi • 1440 V = 1/3 • 4523.89... The volume is approximately 1507.96 ft.  The solution would be 1507.2 if 3.14 was used instead of pi.
