We notice there are 3 Apples, 4 Oranges and 2 Pears, that make a total of  9. Since the total central angles in a pie = 360° and since we have 9 sectors, so each sector will have a central angle of 360/9 = 40°. Hence: 3 Apples = 3 x 40° = 120° (a) 4 Oranges = 4 x 40° = 160° (b) 2 Pears    =  2 x 40° = 80°  (c)  PROOF: 120° + 160° + 80° = 360°
