a. Kinetic energy(KE)= 0.5×mass(m)×velocity(v)² where KE = 2×10³ J and mass = 1000 kg v² = 2×10³ / (0.5×1000) = 4 v = 2 m/s b. KE = 200,000 J and mass=1000 kg v²= 200,000/(0.5×1000) = 400  v=20 m/s
