The triangular trade was a trade between 15th and 19th centuries, where certain goods (rum, manufactured goods) were shipped from Europe or New England to Africa, traded for slaves, those slaves were taken to America, where they produced sugar, tobacco and other goods, which were then shipped to Europe or New England.
