The first thing you need to do is find a common denominator. For this it will be 12.  3(3/4)-2(5/6)-4(2/3) 9/12-10/12-8/12 13/12 So the answer is 13/12 or 1 1/12

3/4 -5/6 -2/3 Find the lowest common denominator for all three terms. The LCD is 12. 3/4 *3/3 - 5/6 *2/2 - 2/3 *4/4 Combine the numerators. (multiply) 3*3 = 9, 5*2 = 10, 2*4 = 8 -1/12 - (2*4)/12 -1*1-(2*4) / 12 Simplify the numerator. -9 / 12 Reduce the expression by canceling common factors. (divide by 3) Exact form: -3 / 4 Decimal form: -0.75
